Museum Parking
Parking at the Museum
For your convenience we have outlined some of the University’s parking rules. Parking is at the driver’s discretion and the Museum is not responsible for any warnings or tickets issued. A complete list of parking rules can be found on the University’s Parking Services website.
Once you have found your way to the large parking lot South of the Library/Museum
complex you will want to follow these guidelines:
- There are 10 Museum Visitor spots near the building, marked on this map with a black M. If those spots are not available then drivers can find parking at:
- Metered parking. Parking in metered spots requires payment via an app. Directions for downloading the app can be found on the meter itself.
- Several Visitor spots are on the Western side of the lot, marked with the blue V.
- Parking in the center of the lot, General Commuter spots (SW-5A), is permissible only with a Museum parking hangtag. Please ask a Museum staff member for a tag to use during your visit. Tags are to be returned upon leaving.
- DO NOT park in any spot marked as Faculty/Staff parking, with or without a parking hangtag.
- Please note: Parking spots are not individually marked. Look for signs placed periodically throughout the lot. If none of the above options are available contact the Museum for more assistance.
