Program Description
International Programs is now offering the Language Tutoring Program. This non-credit bearing program is designed for international students, who have a passion to teach their first language, to achieve just that by allowing them to teach the basics of their language as well as share their culture and lifestyle with any A-State student (international or domestic) who is interested in learning another language.
The selected international students will take the role of a language tutor for one to three A-State students interested in learning foreign languages and culture. The tutor will be required to hold a three-hour session every week with a total of 36 hours by the end of the semester.
Languages currently being offered for tutoring are Korean and Japanese.
