Music

The Department of Music is where talent meets opportunity and passion becomes performance. Here, students study, create, and perform across a wide range of styles and settings—from concert halls to stadiums, and everywhere in between. Whether your goal is to perform, compose, or teach, you'll find your rhythm and your community right here.

Find Your Sound

Every musician’s journey begins with a single note. From classical performance to contemporary composition, explore the degrees that help you develop your voice and share it with the world.
Being at A-State feels like being with family, and in a lot of ways, we are. Here, I have found support and acceptance that I hadn't experienced before. I have been given so many opportunities because of A-State, and for that, I am forever grateful.
