Enrich Your Education Beyond the Classroom
From concerts and public media, to hands-on creative spaces and global travel, our
community gives you a front-row seat to arts, culture, and collaboration.
A-State’s Lecture-Concert Series brings nationally and internationally recognized
performers, artists, and speakers to campus, enriching the cultural experience of
students and the surrounding community.
As Arkansas’ original public radio station, KASU gives students the chance to work
in professional broadcast settings while connecting the region to NPR news, music,
and public affairs.
The Fowler Center hosts theatre productions, concerts, and exhibitions. It’s the finest
artistic performance and exhibition space in the region and a hub for student talent
and community engagement.
BAM presents thought-provoking exhibitions from regional, national, and international
artists. Students can explore, critique, and even showcase their own work.

ASU-TV
ASU-TV is A-State’s very own 24-hour cable station, airing original sports, news and
talk programming. Receive real-world training and gain experience on an actual TV
set.

Windgate Center for Three-Dimensional Arts
The Windgate Center has state of the art kilns and workspaces for ceramics, a dedicated
a woodworking lab, a foundry for castings, student studio and work spaces, and indoor
and outdoor spaces for students, faculty and visiting faculty to display their art.
A-State’s student-run newspaper, The Herald, has been serving the campus community
since 1921.
A-State’s Heritage Sites protect important historic places in the Arkansas Delta and
give students hands-on learning experiences.
Expand your worldview with A-State’s study abroad programs. CLAC students have traveled
to Spain, France, and beyond, studying everything from art and languages, to international
media and global politics.
