Music Major for a Day
Spend a Day as an A-State Music Major
Are you interested in learning what it is like to study music at A-State? Prospective
and admitted students from grade 10 to college are invited to spend the day on campus
and experience being a "Music Major for a Day"!
2026 Schedule
8:30–9:00 a.m. — Check In (Meet & Greet with A-State Students)
9:00–9:30 a.m. — Welcome
9:30–10:30 a.m. — Classroom Observations
11:00–11:45 a.m. — Winds/Brass/Percussion/Choral Studio Hour
11:45–12:30 p.m. — Lunch with A-State Students
12:30–1:30 p.m. — Ensemble Rehearsals
1:30 p.m. — Info Session: Prepare to be a Music Major
