About Early College Programs

Concurrent Enrollment
Early College Programs provides A-State college courses online and on your high school campus for all partnering schools. Each semester gain up to six (6) credit hours at no cost until the end of your high school career by taking courses covered by ACT 456.

Scarlet Shirt Freshman
Become a Scarlet Shirt Freshman today to take classes on A-State's campus or online. All courses through this program will be taught by A-state faculty and attended by A-State undergraduate students.
Tuition for courses will be covered at the concurrent rate. If you have questions about cost, please email cep@astate.edu.

UpSkill Pathways
Gain a total of nine (9) credit hours for each Upskill Pathway. Pathways include:
- Swift Coding
- Game Production and Development
Pathways include two (2) courses (each three (3) credit hours) fully online and each seven weeks. Courses must be taken when provided and must be passed to continue on pathway. Students will take two courses in the fall semester and the final course in the spring to complete their pathway. At the completion of each pathway, the student will gain a certificate.

Early Entrance Program
Provides students desiring to graduate high school early an opportunity to do so.
Tuition for these courses is assessed at the current A-State tuition rate.
