Biography

Quaine Hogan is a tenor soloist, operatic singer, and voice instructor from Jonesboro, Arkansas.

Mr. Hogan spent the last two years studying music in Chicago and garnered experience as a Chicago based singer. During his study at DePaul, Mr. Hogan portrayed the roles of Ferrando in Mozart’s Così fan tutte (2023), Ulisse in Il Ritorno d’Ulisse in patria by Monteverdi (2022), Fenton in Verdi’s Falstaff (2022), and Pane in La Calisto by Cavalli (2021). Mr. Hogan was also involved in opera outside of university, including principle roles such as Vater in Humperdinck’s Hänsel und Gretel with Sinfonietta Bel Canto (2022), Martin in The Tender Land by Copland (2022), and appeared in the chorus with Chicago Folks Operetta for the American premiere of Die Kathrin by Korngold (2022). His most recent engagement included performing internationally in Berlin, Germany as Tamino in Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte with the Berlin Opera Academy (2023).

Apart from his operatic experience, Mr. Hogan has been involved with solo concert work, most recently including participating as the tenor soloist for Nunez Garcia’s Requiem (2023) and Mozart’s Requiem (2022) with DePaul Combined Choirs and Orchestra, and The Seven Last Words of Christ by Dubois with St. James Lutheran Lincoln Park and Zion Lutheran Church (2022-23). Mr. Hogan was also invited to sing as a guest soloist for a concert titled “Wagnerians” for the Wagner Society of America in Chicago (2023).

Mr. Hogan is actively auditioning and engaging in solo performance as a Young Artist. He holds performance degrees from Arkansas State University and DePaul University.
