Biography

Timothy Kirk Arquitt, Jr. holds a BFA in Digital Design from Arkansas State University and an MFA in Graphic Design from Liberty University. As an adjunct professor in the Graphic Communications program, he has taught Digital Publishing I, II, and III, and will be leading the Capstone Course for Graphic Communications in the upcoming summer term.

In addition to his teaching, Mr. Arquitt serves as a Broadcast Production Specialist for the School of Media and Journalism at Arkansas State University. In this role, he supports the production of ASU-TV content through hands-on work in studio preparation, audio and video engineering, and television server maintenance. His expertise contributes to the technical excellence and smooth execution of university broadcasts.

Mr. Arquitt is also engaged in academic research at the intersection of design and assistive technology. He is the author of the peer-reviewed article “The Return of a Voice: Implementing Smart Technology to Provide an Outlet that Aids in Communication for Non-Verbal Children with Autism,” which has been cited in a medical review and reflects his commitment to accessibility and socially impactful design.

With a passion for digital media, education, and inclusive innovation, Mr. Arquitt empowers students with both technical proficiency and a deep understanding of how creative tools can serve real-world needs.
