Biography

Marcelo Ferreira has over 15 years of experience working as a practitioner in emergency management for local government, nonprofit, and water utility. During his career, Marcelo has earned the credentials of: Certified Emergency Manager (CEM), Project Management Professional (PMP), Master Continuity Practitioner (MCP), and Master Exercise Practitioner (MEP), and National Emergency Management Advanced Academy. Marcelo has supported five federally declared disasters and multiple state and locally declared emergencies, primarily in Emergency Operations Centers (EOC) during response and in supporting locally led recovery efforts.
