Understanding Tuition & Fees

Your undergraduate tuition at A-State is based on a few key factors, including your residency status, number of enrolled credit hours, and your program of study. In addition to tuition, students pay fees that support campus services, equipment, and learning spaces.

  • Tuition + Fees: Calculated by multiplying the cost per credit hour plus fees by the number of credit hours taken.
  • Course Fees: Some classes have specific fees ranging from $5–$255 per course.
  • Identity Compliance Fee: A $10/credit hour fee is applied to all online courses (excluding High School Concurrent).
  • Distance Ed Technology Fee: A $10/credit hour fee is applied to all online courses (excluding High School Concurrent).
  • Auditing Courses: Tuition and fees are the same whether auditing or taking a course for credit.
  • Waivers: You may be eligible for certain fee waivers. See if you qualify.
