Each student accepted to the EduCare program will be paired with an Arkansas State University student who has received instruction and guidance regarding best practices when working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Student mentorship provides peer-to-peer interaction and support from one student to another.
The mentor's primary responsibility will be to work with one student over the course of one academic year (fall/spring). Each student and their parent/caregiver will meet with the EduCare team to design a Person-Centered Plan. The goal is to move from a transition plan to an individualized plan towards a desirable lifestyle that focuses on quality of life.

- Career Exploration & Preparation
