Women's Leadership Collaborative

Creating The Women Leaders of Tomorrow

Established with the “Step Up, Reach Back” mentoring philosophy of founder Kathy Loyd, the Women’s Leadership Collaborative at Arkansas State University is focused on providing mentoring, networking and recognition for women across a wide range of community, employment and non-profit leadership positions.

The Coordinating Hub of Women Advancement

Serving as the coordinating hub of activities of a wide range of on-campus organizations such as the Griffin College’s Women’s Business Leadership Center, Women in Science and the Arkansas Delta Women’s Leadership Academy, the Women’s Leadership Collaborative organizes signature events such as the Women’s Leadership Conference and the Recognizing Remarkable Women awards.

The Collaborative is a clearing house for information on the activities and best-practice mentoring ideas, and will coordinate meetings of the campus college and discipline based women’s mentoring programs. It is also a repository of data and metrics on the progress of A-State’s work to enhance opportunities for women in leadership roles.
