Our Next Big Event
Thrown to the Wolves – February 25, 2026
The Delta Center for Economic Development will host the fourth annual Thrown to the
Wolves student innovation competition on February 25, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
in Centennial Hall at the Reng Student Union. High school teams from across the region
will pitch their ideas in a Shark Tank–inspired competition, showcasing creativity,
problem-solving, and entrepreneurial spirit. Community members are invited to attend
and support the next generation of leaders and innovators.

Executive Director – Delta Center for Economic Development
Andrea Allen leads the Delta Center's efforts to connect Arkansas communities with
resources and programs that drive economic growth. With over 25 years of experience
in government and community development, she brings proven leadership and strategic
vision to the Delta region.

Deputy Director – Delta Center for Economic Development
Dr. Cliff Jones oversees the Delta Center’s programs and initiatives, including Executive
Education and leadership development. With extensive experience in academic administration
and regional economic development, he helps guide strategies that strengthen organizations
