Why did you choose A-State?
I decided to join the A-State family after meeting the Dean and the faculty in the Physical Therapy Department. It looked like the perfect place to be.
What makes a good professor?
The ability to listen to the student and help them make their own connection to the topic, to help them find the passion that is physical therapy.
Who was your favorite teacher (and why)?
The faculty at the University of Tennessee where I attended Physical Therapy school, they were welcoming to the wonderful profession that I now do everyday.
What makes for a good student?
One that finds their passion and works toward it daily.
What’s the value of a university education?
It opens a door that may not be achieved otherwise.
What does e3 mean to you?
It mean a trifecta that gives the individual unlimited possibilities.
Your philosophy on education in seven words:
Find your passion and you can’t go wrong.
If you could teach another field, which one and why?
I would say nursing, they helped create the role that we now know as physical therapy.
What is the one thing you wish you could teach everyone about your field?
Physical therapist are in the business of watching amazing things happen to our patients.
