Welcome to Arkansas State University!

The ASU Department of Theatre produces six plays each year from a variety of playwrights, styles and genres. Classical and contemporary dramas, comedies and musicals, as well as children's theatre production shape the typical A-State Theatre Season.

ASU Fowler Center

The ASU Fowler Center at nightOpened in 2001, the Fowler Center is home of the finest artistic performances and exhibition space in the region.

The Fowler Center features a 4,650 sq. ft. grand lobby, an 18-mirror make-up room complete with dressing rooms, restrooms and showers.  It also has a 2,500 sq. ft. black box experimental theatre, a 4,500 sq. ft. scene shop, paint room and storage facilities.  The 344-seat proscenium theatre with continental seating has a fully equipped stage house with rigging, lighting and sound systems.  And lets not forget the costume shop, design lab green room, smart classrooms and more.
