CAEP Accountability Measures

About The CAEP Accreditation

CAEP requires all accredited educator preparation providers to report on four accountability measures. These measures highlight program impact and program outcomes, giving prospective students, families, school partners, and the public a transparent view of how A‑State prepares effective educators.
The Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) is the national accrediting body responsible for assuring the quality of educator preparation programs across the United States. CAEP accreditation means that an educator preparation provider:
- Meets high standards for curriculum, clinical experiences, and faculty.
- Uses data to improve programs on an ongoing basis.
- Demonstrates that program completers are classroom-ready and effective.
A-State's EPP is proud to hold CAEP accreditation, confirming our long-standing commitment
to high-quality teacher education and P‑12 student learning.
