Research Interests

Creating and studying conditions similar to those in the beginning of the Universe is a major effort of high energy nuclear and particle physics. Of particular interest to the investigation of strong interactions is the Quark-Gluon Plasma which can be produced in relativistic heavy ion collisions. Our group's main research focus is the extraction of Quark-Gluon Plasma information from experimental data via computer simulations. The research is made possible with the computing facilities provided by the National Energy Research Scientific Computing Center and by the generous financial support from the Arkansas Science and Technology Authority and the National Science Foundation.
