Biography

Dr. Junqueira is an Assistant Professor of Political Science with research interests in the intersection of economic development, representation, and comparative public policy. Her work has been published in the Journal of Politics and Social Science Quarterly. Currently, she is engaged in research on gender and racial politics, urban politics, and electoral politics, particularly in high-crime contexts. She teaches courses in Political Behavior, Representation, Public Opinion, and Political Methodology. Dr. Junqueira's research employs a combination of quantitative and qualitative methods, including machine learning and interviews.
