Welcome to the A-State Department of Music!

Whether you're a student, educator, performer, or simply a fan of music, we're excited to share our passion with you. As a leading cultural hub in the Mid-South, the A-State Department of Music offers students hands-on opportunities to study, perform, and grow across a wide variety of musical styles and genres.

From the mainstage at Riceland Hall in the stunning Fowler Center, to the Recital Hall in the Fine Arts Center, to Allison Field at Centennial Bank Stadium—and other venues throughout Jonesboro and beyond—our students regularly showcase their talent and hard work in vibrant, live performances for the community.

At A-State, we offer a comprehensive selection of undergraduate and graduate music degrees, diverse performance ensembles, competitive scholarships for music and non-music majors, and a dedicated faculty focused on your growth. Many of us are living the careers we once dreamed of as students, and we’re passionate about helping the next generation turn their musical goals into reality.

Northeast Arkansas is home to a growing and dynamic music scene—and we’re proud to be at the heart of it. Whether you’re looking to take the stage or cheer from the audience, there’s a place for you in the A-State Music family.

If you have any questions about our programs, performances, or how to get involved, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We look forward to welcoming you to an A-State Music event soon!
