Academic Scholarships

Scholarships are a fantastic way to reduce the cost of your education. They can help pay for tuition, textbooks, living expenses, and other school-related costs. By securing a scholarship, you can focus more on your studies and less on financial worries.

2025-26 Scholarship Packages

A scholarship award will only be offered to students who have applied and been admitted to Arkansas State University.  These scholarships are for on-campus students only.  A-State Online students are not eligible. Scholarship Deadline is July 1, 2026, for all scholarships EXCEPT A-State Scholar and A-State Trailblazer.

In-State Scholarships

Requirements
  • U.S. citizen

  • 2026 High School Graduate

  • Minimum 25 ACT superscore or 1210 new SAT and 3.50 HS GPA

Annual Award Amounts

Awards $6,000 per academic year.

Renewal

15 A-State hours on the A-State campus per semester and a cumulative 3.000 GPA. Renewable up to eight semesters.

How to Apply

Must be an admitted student. You automatically qualify for our Academic Scholarships if you meet the minimal requirements with exception of A-State Scholar and A-State Trailblazer. No additional application is required.

  • 21-24 ACT superscore or 1060-1209 new SAT and 3.00 HS GPA

Awards $4,000 per academic year.

15 A-State hours on the A-State campus per semester and a cumulative 3.000 GPA. Renewable up to eight semesters.

Out-of-State Scholarships

Requirements
  • U.S. citizen

  • For First-Time Students: Minimum 24 ACT superscore or 1160 new SAT and minimum 3.00 HS GPA

Offsets out-of-state tuition costs. (You only pay in-state tuition & fees)

Renewal

Remain a full-time student at A-State. This benefit is not available for summer semesters unless the student attended A-State full-time the previous spring semester.

How to Apply

Must be an admitted student. No additional application is required. Student-athletes receiving institutional athletic aid may not qualify; please contact the A-State Athletic Compliance Office for determination of eligibility.
