Where to display permit
Right side up (bar code at bottom) from the inside of the vehicle windshield, in the lower left area. Be sure the vehicle's identification number (VIN) is not covered by the permit.
Yes, permits may be moved from vehicle to vehicle without contacting Parking Services. Only the primary vehicle you park on campus needs to be added to the Parking eBiz system. You may park your primary vehicle or any other vehicle you wish on campus as long as your parking permit is displayed from the vehicle.
Parking meters can be paid using quarters, dimes, or nickels or can be paid by phone. Green parking in the North Parking Deck can be paid by credit/debit card at the pay stations located at each of the south pedestrian exits or can be paid by phone. - Read and understand the current PARKING REGULATIONS
- Display a current parking permit at all times
- Report a missing permit immediately to Parking Services
- Secure a temporary permit from Parking Services if your current permit is unavailable
- Update any changes in primary vehicle information through Parking eBiz, on the Pack Portal
- Report any changes in resident/commuter status to Parking Services
- Avoid parking in unauthorized zones such as visitor*, fire lanes, service/delivery, etc.
- Avoid parking in reserved or contract spaces. Unauthorized vehicles will be towed.
- Pay all metered and garage parking during the hours posted
- Avoid relying on hearsay regarding the parking regulations. The current regulations linked above are the authoritative source for parking information.
* Visitor parking is never an option for students and employees during the hours posted.
Resident Students
- Resident students must park in assigned residence lot from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on weekdays.
- Resident students may park in commuter parking after 2 p.m. and before 8 a.m. on weekdays.
Commuter Zones
- Commuter zones are any zones without restricting signage, gates, curb colors, or pavement markings or other restrictive indicators.
