A-State INSPIRE:  August 10-14, 2026

A-State INSPIRE is a program designed to introduce incoming freshmen to resources and involvement opportunities at Arkansas State University. Through team building, resource seminars and campus exposure freshmen will prepare to be active leaders, through their college matriculation at Arkansas State University.

Cost: No direct costs, but early move-in fees may apply to all students.
Deadline: Applications are due June 19, 2026 at 11:59pm CST.

Students must live on campus in order to attend and participate in this upcoming INSPIRE Program

We will notify applicants by July 10th via email. Further details on how to accept your invitation will be included in the email. An RSVP will be required by July 24, 2026. Spots will not be held for failing to respond.

Students who attend INSPIRE are required to attend the program in its entirety. Consistent tardiness will result in termination from the program requiring a parent to pick you up.

We consider Arkansas State University to be a safe campus. We have University Police Department immediately available to us should an emergency situation arise. To ensure the safety of all of our program participants, our program staff is carefully selected and trained, and all program activities are supervised.  

Residential hall staff, and college student mentors, all of whom have been carefully selected and trained, will be living in the residence hall and hosting participants around campus. Students are not allowed to travel anywhere without the company of a mentor.

Students who attend the program will move into their assigned residence halls for the upcoming school year. We encourage everyone to follow any guidelines provided by University Housing to determine what is acceptable in campus housing.
No, transportation is not provided to accepted participants. Participants are expected to arrive at Arkansas State University between the hours of 10:00 am to 3:00 pm on Sunday, August 9th, 2026.
