A-State INSPIRE

A-State INSPIRE: August 10-14, 2026
A-State INSPIRE is a program designed to introduce incoming freshmen to resources and involvement opportunities at Arkansas State University. Through team building, resource seminars and campus exposure freshmen will prepare to be active leaders, through their college matriculation at Arkansas State University.
In addition to personal, cultural, and leadership opportunities A-State INSPIRE will provide:
- Meetings with diverse faculty and staff which will be pivotal during your tenure at A-State

Introduction to campus resources to help with first day anxiety

Ability to move into residence halls one week before the general move-in date

A mentor to help you navigate college life
Eligibility
To be eligible for INSPIRE candidates must:

Be An incoming freshman at Arkansas State University

Have confirmed registration for room and board for fall semester

Possess a strong interest in student leadership

Be able to attend the full program
Deadline: Applications are due June 19, 2026 at 11:59pm CST.

Frequently Asked Questions
Students must live on campus in order to attend and participate in this upcoming INSPIRE Program
We will notify applicants by July 10th via email. Further details on how to accept your invitation will be included in the email. An RSVP will be required by July 24, 2026. Spots will not be held for failing to respond.
Students who attend INSPIRE are required to attend the program in its entirety. Consistent tardiness will result in termination from the program requiring a parent to pick you up.
We consider Arkansas State University to be a safe campus. We have University Police Department immediately available to us should an emergency situation arise. To ensure the safety of all of our program participants, our program staff is carefully selected and trained, and all program activities are supervised.
Residential hall staff, and college student mentors, all of whom have been carefully selected and trained, will be living in the residence hall and hosting participants around campus. Students are not allowed to travel anywhere without the company of a mentor.
