Karen started her career at Arkansas State University in 2000. She has worked in Student Accounts, the University Foundation and spent the past 14 years in Athletics prior to joining the College of Education and Behavioral Sciences. She has served in numerous roles from Administrative Specialist to Associate Director of Finance and Operations for Intercollegiate Athletics. She taught Business Communications from 2012-2020 for the Neil Griffin College of Business at both Jonesboro and Paragould campuses. She is passionate about education.
In her free time, she loves to travel, read, paint and spend time with her family. She and her husband John are parents to Ace and Karli. Her favorite travel spot is a beach somewhere. Her bucket list includes visiting some of the world’s most beautiful beaches.
