    HealthRHYTHMS-Drumming® to DeStress

    Mondays 5:00pm - 5:45pm

    Wilson Counseling Center Group Room

The Wilson Counseling Center is offering the HealthRHYTHMS® Protocol (Drumming) to De-Stress on Monday afternoons from 5:00 PM to 5:45 PM in the Wilson Counseling Center Group Room. No formal musical ability is required, only a desire to participate, have fun and de-tress!

The HealthRHYTHMS® Drumming Protocol is a structured and research-based rhythm (drumming) program that has shown to promote significant health benefits such as stress reduction, boosting the immune system, and providing social support. The protocol includes rhythm (drumming), relaxation activities and social interaction. Drumming empowers people to experience the health benefits of rhythm regardless of musical ability.

The Wilson Counseling Center is located at 107 N. Caraway Road, across from the Eugene Smith Building and next to the post office parking lot.
Use of the HealthRHYTHMS® protocol encourages participants to engage in rhythm (drumming, etc.) activities, relaxation strategies and social interaction to manage stress.
