ADHE Program Reviewed Programs and Processes

Arkansas Code §6-61-214 requires that the Arkansas Higher Education Coordinating Board (AHECB) review existing academic programs. All certificate and degree programs offered by public colleges and universities in Arkansas are reviewed every 7 – 10 years.  The program leaders will complete a comprehensive self-study that is reviewed by external consultants who have disciplinary expertise and leadership experience to provide a thorough review of the program. The following pages outline the steps to a successful program review and satisfy regulations established by Arkansas Code §6-61-214.
