Student Leadership Starts on Campus

Leadership takes many forms at Arkansas State University. Whether you’re an advocate, event planner, mentor, or changemaker, there’s a place for you to step up and lead on campus.

Be the voice of the student body. Student Government Association (SGA) represents undergraduate students and advocates for academic and campus policy changes. Help shape the A-State experience. It’s your chance to lead, collaborate, and make your voice heard.

Bring campus to life. The Student Activities Board (SAB) plans events, builds community, and gives students opportunities to lead outside the classroom. Shape the vibe at A-State while building real-world skills. Get involved today and start making lasting memories.

Make an impact in your community. Volunteer A-State connects you with local service opportunities through partners like United Way of Northeast Arkansas, CASA, and the American Red Cross. It’s a great way to give back, grow your network, and gain leadership experience.

Global Student Leader

Since 2000, more than 100 A-State students have traveled abroad through GSL, gaining experiences that shape their education—and their future. Whether it’s learning to navigate new perspectives, building friendships across borders, or stepping into leadership opportunities, GSL gives you a head start on becoming the kind of leader today’s world needs.
