Activities & Leadership

There's something for everyone outside the classroom at Arkansas State University.
Get inspired by a club or organization. Take on a leadership role. Or join an intramural
team. To make the most of your time at A-State, all you have to do is show up.
Build Your Campus Experience
The more you put into campus life, the more you’ll get out of your A-State experience.
Explore ways to connect, lead, and find your community.
Find Student Organizations
With more than 150 student organizations, you’re sure to find a club that interests
you. Whether it’s academic, cultural, social, or service-based, you’ll find groups
that match your interests and help you connect with fellow Red Wolves.
Serve, Lead, and Connect
Lead, serve, and grow through A-State’s Leadership Center. Join groups like the Student
Government Association, Student Activities Board, or Volunteer A-State. Build your
leadership skills while making a positive impact on campus and beyond.
Join a Fraternity or Sorority
Greek life is about friendship, service, leadership, and tradition. Joining a chapter
gives you lifelong connections and a chance to be part of something bigger than yourself.
Explore the organizations to find one that fits you best.

Graduate Student Council
Represent the Graduate Student Body
Graduate students, this is your space to lead. The Graduate Student Council (GSC)
speaks up for your needs, supports your goals, and helps build a strong grad student
community. Get involved, share your voice, and make an impact.
Get Connected. Get Involved.
Find your voice and build your confidence. The Center for Leadership Excellence connects
you with mentors, networking opportunities, and leadership events. It's designed to
support and celebrate leaders across campus. All students are welcome to get involved.
Make an Impact, Build Your Future
Volunteering through A-State’s Leadership Center gives you more than service hours.
You’ll build leadership skills, create meaningful connections, and make a real difference
in the community. These experiences not only shape who you are but also stand out
to future employers looking for compassionate, driven leaders.

My favorite part of Arkansas State University is the wide variety of volunteer opportunities
that this campus offers. Whether being a weekly volunteer at the A-State Food Pantry,
volunteering with food recovery, or the other countless, countless community outreach
programs, A-State gives students the ability to give back to others and help those
in need!

Experience New Cultures Global Perspectives. Campus Connections.
Immerse yourself in a supportive network of peers, spirited events, and diverse opportunities
that empower you to lead, excel, and leave your mark. At A-State, you don’t have to
travel far to explore new cultures and perspectives. The Multicultural Center (MC)
celebrates cultural heritage. It fosters leadership through campus events, workshops,
and student programs. The International Student Association (ISA) connects international
and domestic students through social activities, support, and community-building.
Together, these groups offer you a chance to meet new people, share experiences, and
see the world in a new way.

Move, Play, and Recharge

At A-State, staying active is easy. Whether you want to hit the gym, join an intramural
team, or try a new fitness class, Campus Recreation has something for you. From the
Red W.O.L.F. Center to club sports and wellness programs, it’s your go-to spot for
staying fit, having fun, and connecting with fellow Red Wolves.
