What is create@astate?

Create@State is A-State’s signature annual showcase of student research, scholarship, and creative activity. Now in its 16th year, the symposium highlights the work of undergraduate and graduate students across all academic colleges and A‑State campuses. The event brings together faculty mentors, campus administrators, A-State staff, and students to celebrate student achievement and the impact of hands‑on learning at A‑State.

What to Expect at the 2026 Symposium

The 16th Annual Create@State Symposium will take place Thursday, April 16, 2026, featuring a full day of student presentations and activities. Attendees can explore:

  • Poster sessions highlighting innovative projects across STEM, arts, business, education, and more
  • Creative and artistic works, including design, media, performance, and interdisciplinary collaborations
  • Hands-on demonstrations and applied projects
  • Opportunities to meet student researchers, ask questions, and discover how their work impacts the community

The event is open to the public, making it an excellent opportunity for future students, alumni, and local partners to experience A‑State’s academic strengths firsthand.
