The RESTORE Hub is where care, research and community come together. Focused on social and behavioral sciences research, we strive to improve the quality of life for all communities through services, research, education, innovation, and collaboration.

How We Make a Difference

Our Initiatives

The RESTORE Hub works on a variety of projects. One of these initiatives is developing training modules to help individuals with disabilities and their families to better understand and apply for much needed resources

Another key effort is to guide the opening and establishment of two new Inclusive Postsecondary Education (IPSE) programs within the state of Arkansas. We have partnered with Arkansas State University-Mountain Home and University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff to open two new IPSE programs based on A-State's H.O.W.L. Transition Program.

We will also house the Consortium for Inclusive Postsecondary Education and Transition, which will be the coordinating center for IPSE programs statewide.

We are constantly searching for new grant opportunities and partnerships that allow us to help more populations and cover a larger portion of Arkansas as we expand our research interests.

Our Services

Our clinic is operated by the faculty and staff of A-State, and is a training and research service center for our undergraduate and graduate students. It includes a group counseling room, six individual client rooms, a play therapy room, and a couples and family therapy room.

The H.O.W.L. Transition Program opens the A-State experience to students with intellectual or developmental disabilities, including autism. Students gain vital life skills, career preparation, and mentorship, empowering them to live, learn, and thrive independently.

A.T.L.A.S. Transition Program

This program is an upcoming continuation of the H.O.W.L. Transition Program. This program allows students with intellectual or developmental disabilities, including autism, to have access to enrichment and community engagement while becoming self-determined leaders in their lives.
