Youth and Scout Day is Saturday; ASU To Host Pack Rally, Thursday

JONESBORO, Ark. – The Arkansas State Athletic Department has announced that this Saturday’s football against Western Kentucky will be ‘Scout and Youth Day’ at Liberty Bank Stadium.

All scouts wearing their uniform or showing proper identification will get into Saturday’s game for free, while their guests will get in for just $9. In addition, any child under the age of 12 will get in free with the purchase of one paid adult ticket.

Any youth football league player wearing their jersey to the game will also be admitted for free, while their guest will also receive the group rate ticket of just $9. Fans may go to any ticket gate to take advantage of these exciting promotions.

The Arkansas State football team will hold the “Red Wolf Walk” this Saturday at 3:45 p.m., when fans will have the opportunity to join members of the ASU Band, cheerleading squad, A-Team and Howl to cheer on the Red Wolves as they make their way to the locker room prior to their game against the Hilltoppers.

The team will walk from the ASU Pavilion, through Tailgate City and to the ASU Football Facility and will greet fans along the way. Fans are encouraged to form a tunnel prior to the start of the 3:45 p.m. walk along the pathway down to the locker room to greet the team.  

Members of the Arkansas State football team and coaching staff will join the members of the A-State cheer and dance squads for a ‘pack’ rally Thursday, Sept. 26, prior to ASU’s third home football game against Western Kentucky.

The event will begin at 7 p.m. and will be held at the Heritage Plaza behind the Student Union on the campus of Arkansas State. Members of the A-State football team and staff will also address the crowd.
