Ten Students Selected to Serve on 2022 Homecoming Court

JONESBORO – Students elected to Arkansas State University's 2022 Homecoming Court were introduced Monday evening during the lip sync competition in the Reng Student Union.

Online voting for queen and king will be Thursday.  Winners will be announced during the Homecoming Court presentation ceremony Saturday at A-State's game with University of Louisiana-Monroe in Centennial Bank Stadium.

Members of the Homecoming Court who are finalists for queen, with hometown, classification, major and sponsor:

— Carlee Bird of Manila, a senior strategic communication major, nominated by Alpha Gamma Delta sorority.

— Jessica Hiley of Marion, a senior interdisciplinary studies major with medical sciences emphasis, nominated by Delta Sigma Theta sorority.

— Sara Ledesma of Jonesboro, senior economics and political science major, nominated by Delta Zeta sorority.

— Grace Ouellette of Bryant, a senior nursing major, nominated by A-State Cheer.

— Sydney Stauffer of Belleville, Ill., a senior marketing major with sales emphasis, nominated by Student Philanthropy Council.


Members of the Homecoming Court who are finalists for king, with hometown, classification, major and sponsor are:

— Matthew Land of Marion, a junior exercise science major, nominated by Alpha Gamma Rho fraternity.

— Harrison Pait of Jonesboro, a junior marketing major, sales emphasis, nominated by Zeta Tau Alpha sorority.

— Colten Sedman of Jonesboro, a senior marketing major, nominated by Kappa Sigma fraternity.

— Caleb Thomas of McGehee, a junior psychology major, nominated by the A-State chapter of the NAACP.

— Joe Waleszonia of Jonesboro, a senior social science education major, nominated by Delta Zeta sorority.
