Multimedia Journalism Students Capture 42 College Media Association Awards

JONESBORO —  Multimedia journalism students at Arkansas State University picked up a whopping 42 awards, including six general excellence, at last week’s Arkansas College Media Association (ACMA) Conference. They included newspaper, radio and online news categories.

ASU-TV news finished with six first-place wins, including general excellence awards, while KASU 91.9  FM radio grabbed six victories and one general excellence. The Herald, the newspaper produced by students in the School of Media and Journalism, won six first-places and two general excellence awards.
