Learn to Start and Fund Small Businesses in Arkansas in September with ASBTDC
JONESBORO – The Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center (ASBTDC) at Arkansas State University will offer an opportunity during September for small businesses to learn about funding, growing and marketing their business.
The ASBTDC provides one-to-one confidential guidance to business owners and entrepreneurs.
Primary areas of assistance include business planning, financial analysis, market research, loan packaging, growth and expansion, marketing and profitability.
The consulting sessions offer opportunities for business owners to meet with an ASBTDC business consultant. Space is limited for consulting sessions.
The sessions and classes will take place as follows:
— Thursday, Sept. 11 - Laura Miller, ASBTDC director, will lead a “Starting a Business in Arkansas” seminar from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Cherokee Village Innovation Hub, 7 East Cherokee Village Mall, 2 Santee Dr.
— Tuesday, Sept. 16 - Robert Bahn, ASBTDC business consultant, will lead a “Funding Your Business” seminar at the Blytheville Farmers Bank and Trust, 400 West Main St.
— Wednesday, Sept. 17 - Destiny Adams, ASBTDC business consultant, will lead a small business consulting session at the Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce, 109 Southwest Front St. in Walnut Ridge.
