The Howler features a 10-kilometer course with more than 16 obstacles set across the A-State campus, pushing participants’ strength, endurance and teamwork to the limit.

The Howler is held every September, with proceeds going to fund yearly special events.

“Additionally, we have a portion of the proceeds go to a selected charity. This year’s selected charity is St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital,” Hastings added.

The event will run from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., starting at the Lt. Col Frederick C. Turner Jr. Military Science Building, 1921 Aggie Road.
