Griffin College of Business Recognizes Top Graduating Students

JONESBORO —  The most outstanding 2020-21 graduates of the Neil Griffin College of Business at Arkansas State University were recognized during Convocation of Scholars.

Anna Raffo of Jonesboro received the Chancellor’s Scholar award as the graduating senior with the highest GPA in the college this academic year.  She also received the 4.0 Scholar Award.

The outstanding graduate awards are presented to the senior in each degree program who has most excelled in scholarship, leadership and service to the respective departments.

Those receiving departmental awards and their respective degree programs are: Colby Crossfield of Piggott, accounting; Leydi Sherwood of Jonesboro, business administration; Jacob Walker of Paragould, finance (financial management emphasis); Melanie Ricker of Corning, finance (banking emphasis); Anthony Adkins of Jonesboro, economics; and Quynh Ho of Vietnam, computer information technology.

Other departmental award winners are Alicia Warner of Sulphur Rock, international business; Reta Shelton of West Memphis, management; Huici Cai of China, management (human resources emphasis); Paulina Sobolewska of Poland, global supply chain management; Anna Raffo of Jonesboro, marketing; and Emma Haskins of Blytheville, marketing (sales leadership).

Graduate degree program award winners are Pierre Andrieux of France, Master of Business Administration, and Armaan Dharani of Jonesboro, Master of Accountancy.

Leydi Sherwood of Jonesboro received the Talbert-Carrothers Deans Award, named in honor of two former deans of the college.
