ASBTDC to Offer Three Summits in March for Small Business Owners

JONESBORO – The Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center (ASBTDC) at Arkansas State University will offer several opportunities in March for small business owners to learn about growing a business.

This spring, startup summits will be offered in Jonesboro, Cherokee Village and Batesville. At these summits, there will be opportunities for business owners to meet with an ASBTDC business consultant.ASBTDC provides one-to-one confidential guidance to business owners and entrepreneurs. Primary areas of assistance include business planning, financial analysis, market research, loan packaging, growth and expansion, marketing, and profitability.

Events will be held as follows:

— On Tuesday, March 5, Robert Bahn and Rheanna Branscum, ASBTDC business consultants, will lead the startup summit in Jonesboro. This event will take place at the Jonesboro Regional Chamber of Commerce, located at 1709 East Nettleton Ave., from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.— On Wednesday, March 13, Laura Miller, ASBTDC director, will lead the startup summit in Cherokee Village alongside Branscum. This event will take place at the Spring River Innovation Hub, located at 7 East Cherokee Village Mall from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.

— On Tuesday, March 19, Miller and Branscum will lead a startup summit in Batesville. The session will be held from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the University of Arkansas Community College at Batesville, located at 2005 White Dr.

The seminar is available thanks to mission co-sponsors FNBC Bank, First Community Bank, Northeast Arkansas Regional Intermodal Authority, East Arkansas Planning & Development District, Simmons Bank, and First Security Bank.
