JONESBORO, Ark. — Arkansas State University’s online master’s programs continue to shine as the institution’s officials were notified that A-State has been identified as having one of the 30 best online master’s of business administration (MBA) programs in the nation. A-State is listed second overall in the Affordable Colleges Online rankings.

This marks the second time Arkansas State has been listed among the top online graduate business programs this year. In January, “U.S. News and World Report” ranked the program No. 11 in its list for the second straight year. In that ranking, A-State’s online MBA in the College of Business was ranked No. 1 in faculty credentials and training.

“We are very proud of our graduate faculty members and their commitment to delivering a high quality online MBA,” said Dr. Bill Roe, associate dean of the College of Business and director of A-State’s graduate business programs. “The graduate faculty members are dedicated to providing the best educational experience possible, stressing a high degree of student engagement and action-based learning designed to prepare our students to compete in the dynamic global business environment.”

Affordable Colleges Online explains its list as a help aid that assists students to decide which program fits their wants and needs. The rankings are based upon a number of factors, including strict accreditation, faculty quality, student engagement, and admissions selectivity. The publication goes on to say that “these online MBAs are an elite class, unsurpassed in quality and affordability.”

“Colleges that offer online MBA programs give young professionals the academic flexibility they need to get ahead,” said Dan Schuessler, founder of AC Online. “What¹s more, the MBA programs on our list have been recognized for academic and faculty excellence.”

In addition, Affordable Colleges Online noted that A-State coursework focused on a core curriculum covering management, economics and analytics and elective courses in a variety of fields. The program’s concentration in supply chain management is a highly acclaimed option for logistics professionals.
