How to Apply to the DVM Program
Information coming soon.
Contingent upon successful completion of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) Council on Education’s (COE) accreditation process, Arkansas State University CVM plans to admit its first class in Fall 2026.
The Veterinary Medical Common Application Service (VMCAS) is the primary application service for all veterinary schools nationwide. Familiarize yourself with the content and deadlines provided on their website as this will be the main application service used by A-State’s CVM. Please note that due to the accreditation timeline, we will be using the A-State admissions portal Slate for admissions applications in the 2025 admissions cycle (for students admitted for Fall, 2026). The Slate application will ask for the same information as the VMCAS application.
GRE – The DVM program does not require applicants to take the GRE and will not be evaluated as part of the admissions process if submitted.
Requirements for Admission
