Welcome to Arkansas State University!

Campus Concurrent Program Student Information

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

The Arkansas State University (A-State) Early College Program is a partnership between A-State and local high schools. This program allows juniors and seniors to attend college courses on the A-State campus while earning both high school and college credits simultaneously.

Early College Program students are enrolled in regular A-State course sections that are taught by A-State college faculty. These courses require the same content and rigor as other college courses. The Early College Program allows high school students the opportunity to experience college enrollment while under the watchful guidance of their high school counselors. Furthermore, the Early College Program provides students an opportunity to gain college credits at a greatly reduced tuition rate ($40 per credit hour; $15 application fee) while building an early college academic transcript that will follow them in their college career.
