How to Apply for Undergraduate Admission

Applying to college doesn’t have to be complicated. At Arkansas State, we make it
simple, whether you’re a first-time freshman, a transfer, or returning to finish your
degree. We’re here to guide you every step of the way.
Your Step-by-Step Application Process
Applying to A-State is easy!
Step 1
Start your A-State journey by completing the online application.
- New users: Create an account under “First-Time User.”
- Pay the $30 application fee online, or request a fee waiver.
- You can log in at any time to check your progress.

Submit Required Documents
Step 2
Submit your official records to keep your application moving:
- High School Transcript (ask your counselor to send)
- College Transcripts (if you’ve taken college courses)
- Test Scores (ACT, SAT, or Accuplacer)
- Immunization Records (2 MMRs) (required before enrolling in classes)
Send your transcripts and documents to Office of Admissions, Records and Registration via TRIAND, EDI, eScript, Scoir, Slate.org, Parchment.

Check Your Status
Step 3
After submitting your application and documents:
- Applications are typically processed within 7–10 business days after all documents are received.
- You’ll receive an acceptance letter by mail with your next steps.
