2026 Annual Howler Sprint

This event is from 8 am - 6 pm and is open to the public.

April 18, 2026 | 8 am - 6 pm

The annual Howler Sprint event is hosted by A-State's student organization, Howls Heroes. This intense obstacle run is located at the LTC Frederick C. Turner Jr. Military Science Building. 

The sprint is 5k miles with 8+/- obstacles including crossing water.

All participants must submit a signed A-State Howler Hold Harmless Agreement. Email us beforehand, or bring it in person the day of. The entry fee is $15 per individual, and $75 for a team of 5.

This year, runners will be released in waves.

  • 8 am Athletics/CrossFit Teams
  • 10 am JROTC Division
  • 2 pm Open Division (public)

2026 A-State Hold Harmless

ALL Participants under the age of 18 MUST Print, have Parent/Guardian Sign and Bring the Participant Waiver with them to the event registration table. Additional forms will be available however, parent/guardian must provide proper ID as proof to sign.  NO PERSON WILL BE ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE WITHOUT A WAIVER ON FILE.
