Once your information has been reviewed and your student account created, you will receive an email from A-State with instructions for how to activate your account. This process may take several days as we review your student records and create your new student account.
Please note that if you did not attend before Fall 1990, you will need to order your transcript through the National Student Clearinghouse.
Official Transcript Policies
- You must request transcripts online, in person, or in writing.
- We can’t accept requests by phone or email.
- If you have a balance due to the university, we can’t release your transcript or provide proof of attendance until it’s cleared.
- Official transcripts are printed on secure paper and include the A-State seal and the Registrar’s signature.
- If you’re currently enrolled and request a transcript during finals, it might not include your final grades from that term.
- If you’re a transfer student, bring a copy of your records from each previous school to help your advisor with class planning.
- If you’re readmitting to A-State after being away for more than a year, you’ll need to submit updated transcripts from all schools you previously attended.
- Once transcripts are submitted for admission or credit evaluation to A-State, they
become part of your A-State record and can’t be reissued.
- If you need transcripts from another school (including high school), you’ll need to request them directly from that institution.
- If you took classes before Fall 1990, your records aren’t available online.
- You’ll need to request a hard copy first from the Registrar's Office. After that, you’ll be able to request transcripts online, but only with summary totals, not individual course details.
- All transcripts are mailed in a single business envelope to the address you provide.
- If you request duplicate copies to your home address, they’ll be sent in separate envelopes.
- Some older records may no longer be available if you're a former student.
