Art + Design Sets 'Second Saturday' Holiday Creative Activity, Dec. 11

JONESBORO — The Department of Art + Design at Arkansas State University will host its Second Saturday monthly arts project this week, Dec. 11.

Guests are invited to print a card for the holidays. Children of all ages can use foam stickers to create a "toy parade" and other holiday projects, according to A-State printmaker Shelley Gipson.

She invites interested individuals to drop in from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Room 107 of the Fine Arts Center.

Second Saturday is free, and alumni are especially welcomed, according to Dr. Temma Balducci, professor of art history and department chair.
