About Dr. Kevin E. Brueilly

Dr. Kevin Brueilly is professor and Chair of the Department of Physical Therapy and Athletic Training. He earned a bachelor of arts degree in physical education and health education at Cedarville University (1984), a masters of physical therapy at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences (1996), and a doctor of philosophy from the College of Human Sciences at Texas Tech University (2008). 

Dr. Brueilly is a licensed physical therapist of over 30 years and specializes in acute hospital care and the management of wounds. He is a fellow of the American Physical Therapy Association's Education Leadership Fellowship (2012). He is the editor-in-chief of the American Physical Therapy Association Academy of Acute Care Physical Therapy's official scientific publication (Journal of Acute Care Physical Therapy), published by Wolters Klower/Lippincott Williams & Wilkins.

Dr. Brueilly's research has focused on rehabilitation in patients following joint replacement, physical therapy education, and faculty development. He is the author or co-author of more than 90 peer-reviewed scholarly products and presently remains active in his research line of faculty development.

Dr. Brueilly is married to his wife of more than 40 years, Jennifer, and they have two adult children. In his spare time, you will find Dr. Brueilly working on his golf game at the Sage Meadows Country Club in Jonesboro.
