About Jim Chidester
Jim Chidester is an Instructor at Arkansas State University, where he teaches Construction
Management and Engineering Management. He has almost thirty years of commercial consulting
engineering experience including HVAC and plumbing systems design, with special emphasis
in energy-efficient design, energy studies, and energy modeling for sustainable and
high-performance buildings. His resume includes experience on more than two dozen
LEED buildings and numerous energy projects around the country. Jim holds a B.S.
in Mechanical Engineering and a Masters in Engineering Management. He is a licensed
Professional Engineer and is also one of only about 250 LEED Fellows in the world.
