About Dr. Gbeminiyi John Oyewole
A problem-solving and passionate researcher and teacher in the field of operations research, business analytics, industrial engineering, operations/engineering management, optimization, and predictive analytics (planning, researching, modeling, solving optimization problems).
Dr. Oyewole's teaching philosophy centers on bridging theoretical principles with practical industrial applications, preparing students to think critically and solve complex engineering/operations management problems. Dr. Oyewole has over 8 years of experience teaching a wide range of undergraduate and graduate courses in Industrial Engineering and Engineering Management, mentoring research students, preparing grant applications, and contributing to curriculum development within and outside the United States.
Dr. Oyewole has worked in the manufacturing, logistics, and transportation sectors in both the United States and internationally, including roles with FGF Brands LLC, FedEx, and Candel Agrochemicals. As a faculty member, he hopes to create a platform where students of different races and ethnicities can express themselves and exchange perspectives on teaching and research with their peers.
