Arkansas State is fortunate to be located in a very giving community that takes care of its friends and neighbors.
Each year, United Way of Northeast Arkansas joins forces with Arkansas State University and our community to raise funds for our neighbors through our Annual United Way Campaign. The dollars raised support United Way's in-house programs and more than a dozen nonprofit agencies annually in our community that provide services for healthcare, emergency shelter, getting back to work programs, food distributions, underserved youth school programs, and much more.
By making a contribution to United Way of Northeast Arkansas, you are directly supporting not only our local community, but students, faculty and staff right here on our campus. Our very own A-State United Way group serves on campus and hosts fundraisers for the A-State Food Pantry throughout the year. Additionally, United Way has provided more than $27,000 to support the pantry and Red Wolves for St. Jude over the last few years.
Don't forget you can select "Give Through Payroll Deduction" to donate small amounts each pay period that will add up over time. If you are already a donor to United Way through payroll deduction, your donation will continue unless you decide to raise your donation amount.
