Favorite Place on Campus: My favorite place on campus is the Humanities and Social Sciences building. Whether you need to grab a quick bite to eat, some coffee, a study session, or you just want to relax, this building is a great place to do it. The giant glass ceiling makes you feel like you are outside and can add a bit of relaxation to a busy schedule.
Free Time Activities: I really enjoy the outdoors, whether it’s hiking, running, kayaking, or fishing. Craighead Forest Park is great for all of these things, so I spend quite a bit of time there on the weekends.
Favorite Place to Eat in Jonesboro: J-Town’s has to be my favorite place to eat. If you go, be sure to try any of their nachos. They’re fantastic!
Most Interesting Class You Took in College: My favorite classes would have been anything Philosophy or History adjacent. Both types of classes offer helpful insight into the past and what we can learn from it, or they give you a unique opportunity to talk with professors and peers about some of the greatest questions we have in life.
#1 Piece of Advice for Prospective Students: Try to take at least one day a week to really rest from school work. Even if that means you have to plan ahead during the week to make this possible. It’s great for you mentally, physically, and emotionally.
