Borrowing
Community Borrowers Card Request Form
Arkansas residents not associated with Arkansas State University can request Community Borrowing privileges. This card allows guests to borrow up to two items at a time and to use online databases and resources inside the library.
Delivery, Pickup or Retrieve and Hold Form
Ask library personnel to pull materials for you! Items can be delivered to campus offices, retrieved from storage, or held at the Service Desk. We can also come to campus offices to pick up materials to be returned to the library.
Interlibrary Loan Request
If you need materials not available from the Dean B. Ellis Library, fill out the ILL Request Form to receive digital scans and borrow physical items from other libraries around the country.

Research & Instruction Requests
Library Instruction Requests
Librarians can visit your class, either online or in person, to instruct your students on a wide variety of research skills and library resources. Once you've completed the form, a librarian will contact you to make arrangements for your class.
Schedule a Research Consultation
Our research librarians are experts at helping you find, evaluate, and select the right resources and sources for your research needs. Once you've completed the form, a librarian will contact you to set up a research consultation in your preferred format (online, in-person, phone).
Journal Evaluation Request Form
Predatory publishing is a growing concern in academia. Fortunately, the librarians at A-State can help you determine if a journal is legit or predatory. Please allow us up to 5 business days to investigate the journal and submit our findings. If you have any questions, please contact Robert Robinette at rrobinette@astate.edu.

All researchers who wish to visit our Archives & Special Collections department need to fill out a Research Registration Form.
Archives Material Request Form
To help Archives & Special Collection better prepare for your visit, please submit for Materials Request Form for the materials you need us to pull for you. Some items in our collection take time to gather and this will ensure that we are ready for your visit when you arrive.
Archives Duplication Request Form
There is no self-service duplication available in Archives & Special Collections due to the nature of the material. If you need a copy of anything, please fill out the Duplication Request Form and A&SC staff will scan or copy items for you. Some items may have an associated fee. Please contact archives@astate.edu for more information.
