Arkansas State University puts an advanced degree within reach for anyone who either can’t attend classes on campus or just needs a more flexible course schedule. Today, there are over 3,000 students nationwide taking courses at A-State Online.
From Anywhere, At Any Time
You can complete our degree programs at your pace, as our classes do not require attendance at specific times of the day. Through a combination of self-study and peer-to-peer interaction in an online learning network, with A-State professors facilitating, you will complete weekly assignments, readings, discussions, and occasional group work, as well as exams and other activities designed to enhance learning outcomes.
What to Expect
As an A-State Online student, you can expect interactions with classmates from different backgrounds and situations though chat, video conferencing, phone calls, email, social media, bulletin boards and more. These experiences will give you the opportunity to experience many perspectives and concepts, as well as building personal networks through these interactions and connections.
In fully accredited programs designed by A-State faculty with the assistance of technologists, you take courses that will meet your specific needs as a student in an online environment. Syllabi are distributed at the beginning of each session to help with advance preparation and planning. This document will outline the course assignments, grading strategy, student and faculty expectations, and course materials, and will outline the course goals and learning outcomes for an overall understanding of the course.
